Bound Base Pro Driveway Kit 2.5m2

Bound Base Pro is a high-performance base course that replaces the traditional asphalt or concrete base under a resin bound driveway. It builds up thinner than a conventional base, so excavation depth and spoil are reduced, and it is ready to overlay in hours rather than days. This kit covers approximately 2,5 m² for vehicle and heavy traffic at 30 mm.

• 1 x 5 kg binding quartz for heavy traffic

Technical data

• Coverage: approximately 2,5 m² at 30 mm, vehicle and commercial traffic
• Binder: Resin Mill single-part polyurethane resin
• Aggregate: 6-10 mm blend of recycled aggregates
• Reinforcement: 100 kN mesh as standard, against the 50 kN mesh typical of conventional systems
• Fire classification: BFL-s1
• Working temperature: 5 °C to 30 °C
• Overlay window: approximately 2 to 4 hours, temperature dependent
• Full chemical cure: approximately 7 days
• Permeable, suitable for SuDS-compliant build-ups

Typical build-up, vehicle and heavy traffic

• ResinRox resin bound surfacing, 18 to 20 mm, with binding quartz incorporated

• Regulating capping layer, up to 25 mm of 5-10 mm angular stone where required
• MOT Type 3 or equivalent free-draining sub-base, minimum 150 mm, up to 300 mm subject to ground conditions
• Geotextile membrane, grade to suit site conditions

Mixed in a forced action mixer for approximately two minutes, laid with a lute and compacted with a trowel or power trowel onto the reinforcement mesh. Suitable for residential driveways, retail forecourts, car parks, ramps and access routes. Always confirm the build-up against ground conditions and the expected loading on your project.
